Judith brings over 20 years of experience in branding, communications, and community-building.
Her background shaped the resilience, creativity, and compassion that would later become part of WINGS’ family-centred philosophy.
When her son Jake was born, Judith entered the world of developmental and rehabilitative support as a parent searching for ways to help her child thrive.
Jake experienced a hypoxic brain injury at birth and was later diagnosed with a rare genetic condition, NACC1.
Over the years, Judith and her family explored a wide range of movement-based, developmental, and rehabilitation approaches from around the world.
These experiences eventually inspired the creation of WINGS — a place dedicated to supporting children, teenagers, and young adults with diverse developmental and mobility needs.
Today, WINGS continues to bring together multidisciplinary intervention approaches, family support, and individualized developmental programmes in a hopeful and nurturing environment.
Jake is a bright and resilient young man whose rehabilitation journey has taken him across multiple countries over the past decade in search of movement-based and developmental support approaches.
His journey became one of the inspirations behind WINGS, helping shape the centre’s family-centred philosophy and interest in intensive, movement-based rehabilitation models from around the world.
Through years of exposure to different intervention approaches, adaptive programmes, and supportive therapies, Jake and his family became passionate about helping other families in Singapore access developmental support and rehabilitation resources.
Despite the challenges he continues to face, Jake’s determination, strength, and progress continue to inspire the WINGS community every day.
