Cuevas Medek Exercises

Cuevas Medek Exercises® (CME) is a psycho-motor therapy approach created by Chilean physical therapist, Ramon Cuevas in 1972.

CME focuses on improving the gross motor skills of young children (4 months+) with physical disabilities and movement disorders.

CME aims to provoke in the child’s brain automatic responses of postural and functional motor control. This approach helps develop a child’s balance against gravity, ultimately to prepare for sitting, standing and walking independently.
